Plush Mattress – The Best of Both Worlds

When it's time for you to buy a new mattress, there are some things you need to think about. There's more to it than just running to the store and buying the first one you look at. Today there are dozens of choices to sort through before you find the one for you. There are a number of firmnesses and sizes to choose from, as well as the actual construction of the mattress. Here we will take a look at some reasons for choosing a plush mattress.

Things To Consider

Again, there are a number of things to consider when mattress shopping, not the least of which is your budget. In reality, you don't have to spend thousands of dollars to have a comfortable mattress. Basically, you are paying for the name of some popular manufacturer. If someone put two mattresses in front of you and told you that one of them costs $300 and one of them costs $1500, you probably would not be able to tell the difference.

The next thing we will look at is the firmness of the mattress. Basically, there are three different categories – firm, plush top mattress, and pillow top. Obviously, the firm type is just that. These mattresses will give

you the most support of the three. Some say that this type of mattress is the best for your back, but there are some that would argue that point.

A pillow top mattress is the softest of the three choices. This is the type of mattress that you really sink into when you lay on it. If you're looking for support, stay away from this kind.

The third type of mattress is the plush mattress. A plush mattress is somewhere between the firm and the pillow top. It has a little more give than the firm, and also offers more support than the pillow top mattress. The plush mattress is becoming more popular all the time. This is because of it's versatility. It's also because mattress shoppers may not really know if they need more support or not. With a plush mattress, they get a little bit of both.

Plush mattresses are also nice for couples who have different needs in a mattress. One person may have back issues that require a bit more support than a soft mattress can offer. The other may not prefer the hard surface of a firm mattress. This way, they can meet in the middle and find something that suits both of them.
